1 month old!!

I can't believe that Micah is 1 month already. As I sat and watched her sleep last night I wondered how it has gone so fast. I wish that I could stop time and keep her the little forever (except the no sleep @ night thing). I love how precious babies are and little. I want to capture her every movement and expression. I am always afraid that once they get bigger I won't remember this time as well.

Micah has been great. She even lets Cale hold her like this without crying!!

Zoe's New Hair Style

I have always loved doing Zoe's hair and coming up with fun ways to do it. A while ago Zoe decided that she wants to do her hair. At 1st I tried really hard to hold onto getting to do it but it caused to much drama so I eventually gave in. Although on some Sunday I tell her in the morning I get to do it for church and she is usually ok with that.

Anyways about a week she came out with this new hair style and is constantly doing her hair this way. She calls it her Cinderella hair and has showed everyone how she can do it. I am amazed every time I watch her that she can do this.

I guess Cale is going to have to become my new target. If only I can get her to sit still long enough and not to pull it out!!

The basement is on its way!

This last weekend my Dad and Brother came over and they helped Brad frame in the basement!! I am so excited!! It is funny how just that little bit makes things look so much different. I know we still have a long ways to go but it is started. I can't wait for the extra space and toys can be downstairs!!

How do kids think?

I went to go to bed the other night and this is how I found my dresser. Cale had hung up her little toys that she had been playing with. I left it there and in the morning when she came it she said, "wook, wook, mom!" Then she gave a little giggle.

I often wonder why kids do certain things. They are so cute!!!

Valentines Day Traditions

I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my girls on Valentines. I thought I would ask and see if anyone had anything fun that they did or that their families do for Valentines Day. I would love lots of ideas!!

Sooner or later it was going to happen......

I have had this fear since bringing Micah home that Cale was going to try and pick her up at some point. Zoe is constantly picking her up and trying to walk around with her and move her places. So I was pretty sure that Cale would try eventually. I have been trying hard to keep a close eye on her but they always comes a time.......

I had Micah in the bouncy seat while Brad & I were tending to a mess in the girls bathroom. Micah had started to fuss a little bit but not too bad. The next time I looked down there was Cale hold Micah in her arms saying, "here mom." She had looped her arms under Micah's and carried her all the way to the bathroom.

Micah is going to be one tough little girl if she survives her older sisters!!

My New Favorite

Micah is probably going to hate having her picture taken soon!! I just can't help myself, little babies are so fun to do. They are only that little for so long.

Photo Shoot

I have all 3 girls down for a nap at the same time!! I doubt that will happen very often. The hardest part was trying to decide what to do with my time......nap, clean, read.......I took the time to work on some photo's I was able to take the other day. I thought I would post a couple to share.

I love this one of the 3 girls. If only one of them look at me would have turned out as good!!

I hope that she will out grown this fake smile stage.

Cale of course was the most difficult one to get to take a picture and she didn't last long. It is so hard to get pictures of your own kids. They never want to do what you want them too!!

Crazy Things

Life has been a little hectic with the transition to 3 kids and a new baby. I feel like I am running a couple of steps behind at all times and the laundry just keeps stacking up!! I was sitting on my bed folding laundry and chatting on the phone for a minute when I hear Zoe.....

"Mom the sink is drowning!!"

As I run to the bathroom I realize Cale had been washing Micah's binkie like her daddy had told her to do. Little did Brad know I had a t-shirt of Micah's soaking in the sink and the longer Cale washed the more water hit the floor. We had a nice little flood!!

I am sure we are going to have many more adventures with Cale!!
